Bullets to Beauty Necklace . Ancient Angels

This is my homage to the beauty of Ethiopia , it’s people and it’s culture.

My travels there have opened my eyes and filled me with love for the country and the incredible young women I work with there .

These necklaces are all one off pieces , some may look similar but the crosses are never the same . 

Amongst my latest parcel from Ethiopia were some hand painted crosses with traditional images .

The central cross depicts an Angel as seen in ancient Iconography.

This gorgeous piece is made using the recycled bullet cartridge beads and crosses , combined with the beauty of the Czech glass faux pearls then strung on to luxurious pure silk .

Materials:

Czech glass faux pearl beads  , bronze metal beads , bronze crosses and Antique coloured Dupion silk .
