Climbing Rose …… Petite

This hand stitched cross, pendant style necklace evokes for me , a Cowgirl- esq vibe.

It conjures up images of those highly embellished suits they would wear in the 1940’s especially with roses climbing the sleeves etc…..

The cross is three dimensional with beaded embroidery stitched over the top using seed beads and Swarovski flowers.

Fringing has been stitched to the Dupion silk ends for an added touch.

Adjustable length that can be worn long or short.

Cross measures 8 cm’s in length.

Silk colour is Navy Blue   .
The beaded cross is made with Pale Sapphire Blue  faceted beads .
A tinge of gold is incorporated by way of tiny 24ct gold plated seed beads to stitch down the flowers and create the stems .
