This fabulous Jomaz brooch is a small part of costume jewelry history that I purchased in New York this year. I just loved it’s gold and silver tones and Dali - esq look .

Mazer Bros, founded by Lincoln and Joseph Mazer in 1927 in New York. produced fine costume jewelry until the late 1970's. Early pieces were signed Mazer Bros, later pieces were signed either Mazer or Jomaz.
Regardless of the mark, almost anything with the Mazer, Mazer Bros or Jomaz signature is a piece of beautiful design and quality.
