Ethiopia Dreaming - Memory Necklace

Jewellery is so much more than something pretty ! 

Jewellery in all its forms is the keeper of memories, the reminder of beauty and your own uniqueness and it’s a joy bringer ! 

This necklace has been made using collected and gifted treasures and made with my memories of my time spent there and those who still live and work there helping to bring about change and empowerment. 

The Telsum pendant is hand made from recycled metal and I’ve added to its charm with silk, tassels and Czech glass beads . 

PLEASE NOTE - this  Telsum is made from a mix of recycled metals , they have a silver wash only and this pendant does have a mark on the front which is common and characteristic of this type of work made by hand . 

Materials :

Pure Dupion Silk in this fine striped Gold colour with Metallic and marbled green Czech glass beads and Bronze Metal Ethiopian Crosses .

Pendant Measurements : 18 cms Length including tassels x 8cm’s wide . 

The Silk tie is adjustable and the Necklace can be worn long or short .
