Bullets to Beauty - Rosary Style Necklace

Travelling to and spending time in Ethiopia is an experience that was a game changer - personally and for my jewellery designs .

After a 9 hour trip into the mountains , I met with the local families that make these incredible crosses and beads .

They use recycled bullet casings as the base material for these unique pieces .

The beauty of the landscape, the harshness of the environment and the dedication to workmanship and support for the community are all here in these handcrafted necklaces that I’ve created for you .

This is my Rosary Style necklace Design , it’s an easy to wear necklace that goes with anything! 

This is a one of a kind as no two crosses are ever identical.

Made using Czech Glass Preciosa Faux Pearls and hand knotting . 

Length is approx 60 cm’s with 10 cms of extension.
( measured from the centre back to the bottom of the cross)
