In the Jablonec (Yah-blonetz) is a tiny , by appointment only antique shop . Vlad has some incredible treasures there , large and small but perfectly curated .
Tucked away in one of dozens of drawers I found this little packet of delicate pressed metal buttons with their original tag . At least 70 years old I knew they would find a new life in my hands .
I’ve hand stitched a base of Twilight coloured Czech glass beads and over stitched with the buttons and some tiny vintage glass flowers .
This necklace design is so easy and light to wear but it packs an almighty punch of glamour and grace - with a wonderful story to boot !
